Music of the Eye: In the Spirit of Arthur Dove
Submission guidelines and requirements
- ● Open to all artists who live in the Finger Lakes region of New York state Counties included are: Cayuga, Chemung, Cortland, Livingston, Monroe, Onondaga, Ontario, Schuyler, Seneca, Steuben, Tioga, Tompkins, Wayne, Yates
- ● All media are accepted:
- 3D work up to 5x3x3 ft (bases are available)
- Video and Audio up to 5 minutes
- Multi-panel pieces exceeding the maximum dimensions
- Artwork weighing more than 75 lbs
- Raw/hazardous/live/perishable materials, including materials that are in any way wet, hazardous, and/or toxic
- Artwork must have been created within the last two years
- Submission is not a guarantee of inclusion in the exhibition
- Artwork for the show will be selected by professional curators who will serve as jurors
When to submit:
- ● The submission process is online through Call for Entry/Café
- You will need to create a Call for Entry/Café account
- ● You may submit your artwork digitally starting January 1, 2023. The submission deadline is February 15, 2023. Artists will be notified by March 15, 2023.

How to submit:
- ● There is a $35 entry fee for this exhibition
- ● All submissions must be finished artworks at the time of submission
- ● Maximum is 3 submissions/images per artist
- ● Label files “last name, first name, artwork title, year of creation, email”
